Voice Guide is a feature developed for visually challenged people. It narrate the functions and options shown on the LG TV. The voice guide feature can be annoying for normal users. How to Disable Voice Guide on LG TV [2021 & Above]
If your LG Smart TV runs on WebOS 6.0 or higher, follow the methods below to disable the Voice Guide.
1. Tap the Settings button on the TV remote and select All Settings.
2. Go to General under Settings. Then, click Accessibility from the list of options.
3. Now, select Audio Guidance and choose OFF to disable it.
How to Turn Off Audio Guidance on LG Smart TV [2020 & Earlier]
If you have an old LG Smart TV that runs webOS 5.0 and earlier, try these steps.
1. Press the Settings button after turning on your LG TV.
2. You can see some options appearing on the side of the screen. From the options list, click All Settings.
3. Select Accessibility from the menu and hit the OK button on your remote.
4. Click Audio Guidance and turn off the feature. In some LG Smart TV models, you need to turn off the Audio Description toggle.
5. Now, you won’t get any voiceover on your LG Smart TV.
