How to Enable Dolby Atmos on LG Smart TV

Dolby Atmos is a surround sound technology developed by Dolby Laboratories. This feature enables an immersive, multi-dimensional audio experience in heaters, home theaters, and headphones. Dolby Atmos is compatible with many devices, including smartphones, speakers, TVs, and PCs. Fortunately, the latest LG TV models have built-in Dolby Atmos support to enhance the audio experience.

Basically, all the LG TV models manufactured after 2019 and some models in 2017 like LG W7,G7,E7,C7, and B7, support Dolby Atmos built-in feature.

How to Enable Dolby Atmos on LG TV

[1] Turn on your LG TV and press the Settings button on your remote control.

[1] Initially, connect the HDMI cable from the external speaker/soundbar to the HDMI 2 (ARC)port of your TV.

[2] Once connected, turn on your LG TV and navigate to SettingsSound.

[3] Under the Sound menu, select the Sound Out option.
